I grew up in France and came to the UK in 1993.
I had a high-pressure career, a life full of stress and schedules. It wasn’t a happy or healthy life. I was missing out on seeing my daughter. My marriage ended. I didn’t ever have time to be ill.
Then one day on my way to work, I was in a head on collision with a taxi. That accident changed my life.
While I escaped relatively unharmed physically, I suffered severe post- traumatic stress disorder. My mind literally would not let my body function properly. I had to stop working. I battled to leave my bed.
I began seeing a therapist, something I’d previously scoffed at. But I was amazed at the effect it had. It lit a passion in me. I knew that this was what I had to do.
I left my corporate life behind me. I retrained and am now a fully qualified Clinical-Hypnotherapist, trained in Person Centred Counselling and Transactional Analysis. I am also a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. I’ve been practising for eight years.
I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), who are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy. I am bound by the codes of ethics of these organisations. I have an enhanced CRB check and am a qualified hypnotherapist. Client confidentiality is assured.
Having previously worked in the corporate environment and now as a therapist, I am able to bridge both worlds, drawing on experience to help my clients gain insight and achieve their goals.
